    • Hi Lynda, you need to enter your name, email AND phone number after doing the quiz – then the results and answers appear. I got 65%, so quite happy, guessed maybe 4.

    • I agree fully! I was reading Shakespeare at age 8-10, not silly children’s books. Read Romeo and Juliette, Julius Caesar, and Hamlet by the time I was 10; didn’t read a “children’s” book until high school and adulthood. Have never read Steven King or any of the historical (hysterical?) romances like the Highlander genre at all (although I DO love a really well-written murder mystery, my one concession to lighter fiction) Why didn’t tyey have questions about Kingsolver? Even Agatha Christie? Truman Capote? Mario Puzo? or even Michael Chrichton?

    • No I didn’t. I only got 10 right. Thought the check marks at the beginning were telling me that I got it right. DUH

  2. i have always hated quizzes from the time we participated in a family one at a family holiday run as an interfamily, peace building project. The questions were mostly based on football, soaps, movies or music. Half way through my 10 year old son proclaimed,”Mum and Dad you know nothing”. So markied the end of my relationship with quizzes

  4. At 90 those early books are a long long time ago. However it did bring back memories and I wonder do the kids of today read such gems as Peter Pan and Black Beauty.
